Mirchi Delhi launches 'Fachcha Khush Hua' campaign

MUMBAI: Capitalising on the college admission chaos in the nation's capital, Delhi's Radio Mirchi has announced the 'Fachcha Khush Hua' initiative. Fachcha stands for 'freshers' in Delhi lingo.

The initiative started early this week to celebrate the spirit of freedom and masti for the young adults. The campaign will kickstart with an on- air promotion in which RJs will be inviting freshers to participate. They will also give some useful tips and advice along with advices on what should be practised and what should not be done, as per campus rules.

Radio Mirchi's 'Fachcha Khush Hua' campaign will also provide one of the listeners an opportunity to win a bouquet of prizes that will include a mobile phone, CDs and a complete makeover.
Radio Mirchi cluster head Srinivasa Shenoy said "Fuchcha Khush Hua initiative is aimed at creating memorable moments for the fresher and wish them all the very best as they gear up to start the journey of college life. Through this campaign we would like to ease out all the tension and pressure that fresher faced during the admission process. I am confident that we will be able to make the Fachcha happy."

Radio Mirchi had also initiated 'Return of Fachcha' campaign for the students, and was an attempt to twist the entire tiresome admission procedure into one of the memorable experiences of the initial college days through informative on air and on ground activities.

The initiate is being carried out in association with the entertainment and lifestyle supplement of Navbharat Times 'Hello Dilli', says a release.
