MUMBAI: American pop star Katy Perry’s is set to release a slow love song to follow her up-tempo chart topping single ‘Roar’. The yet to be released track ‘Unconditionally’ will be the second single from her new and third album- 'Prism'.

The ‘Firework’ singer described the ballad as her personal favourite of the album which is due on 22 October. The slow, melodious love song has Perry singing “There is no fear now...I love you unconditionally”.

When asked about the upcoming track, Perry 28 said that it was different from her hit ‘Roar’ and as not being “eighth notey”.

"I think it's a universal love song that everyone's going to be able to relate to no matter the age, no matter male or female. It's my favourite song off the record," she said.

Perry’s current single ‘Roar’ is still holding No 2 position on Billboard 100, while the promotional track for ‘Prism’ titled ‘Dark Horse’ also entered the charts at No 17. The singer also revealed that another promotional track- ‘Walking on Air’ will be released month -end.
