MUMBAI: In May 2017, Saregama launched Carvaan, Carvaan Mini and Carvaan Premium, a digital music player, targeting the older generation. And, now, with the festive season just around the corner, Saregama has launched the new edition of Carvaan Mini - Carvaan Mini 2.0 on Independence Day.

This upscale version of Carvaan Mini is everything that a music lover dreams of and comes packed with features that have been introduced based on consumer feedback. This compact music player, now, has a curated collection of 351 evergreen retro Hindi songs (up from 251 songs from the previous version), upgraded speakers along with Bluetooth and USB. Also added is the AM/FM mode that the Mini 2.0 will have, making it the only Bluetooth speaker of its kind in the market.

With this all-purpose, attractive music player, one can enjoy its personal collection of music through Bluetooth or by using a USB drive. Radio needs are taken care of with both the AM and FM mode in it. While the features like Bluetooth, USB and FM speak are for the urban audiences, with the AM mode, Carvaan Mini 2.0 will reach out to a younger demographic in the smaller towns and cities, tapping into a new audience segment. 

It is light in weight and has an effective battery life of more than four hours. The charging cord is compatible with any android device. While the product does have a 3.5 mm audio jack to connect external speakers, the Carvaan Mini 2.0 speakers have an impressive output in a room, making it the perfect all in one music player.
