MUMBAI: Lady Gaga has loaned a new song to Robert Rodriguez's upcoming movie 'Machete Kills'. In stark contrast to previous promos where she barely uttered a word, the 'Judas' singer takes centre stage in the latest promo, showing off her gun totting talent. While the track, titled 'Aura', is part of her forthcoming album 'ARTPOP', it is not yet known if it will serve as a single from the album.

In the new promo, Gaga wears a curly golden wig; a look similar to the one she sports in her 'Telephone' video, while her track is played in the background of rather violent scenes. The pop star is set to release a lyric video with a 'Machete Kills' theme for the track, in the coming week.

Gaga will play a cameo role in the action packed thriller alongside a number of popular faces including Mel Gibson, Charlie Sheen, Cuba Gooding Jr., Danny Trejo, Sofia Vergara and Michelle Rodriguez. 'Machete Kills' opens on 11 October, while Gaga's 'ARTPOP' will be released a month later.
