Mission Ustaad tackles education issues this week

MUMBAI: This week, Mission Ustaad will treat viewers to performances by the eight versatile singers who will base their songs on a new theme -'Shikhsha Ki Roshni'.

Naresh Iyer and Shweta Pandit were conferred the title of'Ustaad Jodi' last week.

The Friday episode begins on a light-hearted note as the ace stand-up comedian Raju Srivastav entertains the audiences with his take on education and the consequences of being un-educated.

The episode will kick start with a performance from the youngest Jodi - Naresh Iyer and Shweta Pandit, who sing'Aaja Nachle' from the movie - Tara Rum Pum. Next to perform is the husband - wife Jodi of Roop Kumar Rathod and Sunali Rathod who lend their voices to'Gunji Si Hai Saari Hawa'. Kailash Kher and Mahalaxmi Iyer will perform'Naino Ki Mat Maaniyo Re' from the blockbuster movie Omkara. Vasundhara Das and Mohit Chauhan smartly begin with'Mann ki Shakti Dena' followed by the foot - tapping number'Aaj Main Upar Aasman Neeche'.
