MUMBAI: 12 January is going to be D day for the final clash between the two final jodis of Sahara One's Jjhoom India.

Based on the performance, winners will be declared on 18 January, the final episode of season one of the celebrity music talent hunt launched three months ago. The coveted battle will be between the jodis of Sachin Tyagi -Madhushree and Varun Badola - Akriti. The show that started in October, showcased the singing talent of actors like Shekhar Suman, Shweta Tiwari, Apara Mehta, Mrinal Kulkarni and Varun Badola. The judges for the show, Shabana Azmi and Mahesh Bhatt are going have a tough task, deciding the winner.

The viewers will get to watch the final singing performance of the jodis at 9:00 p.m on Saturday. Based on these performances, the best actor-singer jodi will be crowned the Jjhoom India champion jodi of the first season. There was intense competition for the top slot for the last 12 weeks between the jodis. It would now be the final hour for the selected four to prove their singing talent to the world.

The jodis were formed pairing one singer music director with a TV artist. Varun and Sachin, both TV stars have improved their singing skill by hard practice as the show proceeded. Sachin was paired with Madhushree- the singer of songs like- Naina- Saathiya, Tu bin bataye- RDB, Mahi ve- Kal Ho Na Ho, whereas Akriti partner of Varun, has sung numbers like- Johnny Gaddaar (Title song), Aanan Fanaan- Namastey London, Dekho Tujhe To Pyaar Aaye- Apne.
