MUMBAI: Since its advent this year, YouTube Music has been on the top of the game when it comes to attracting subscribers. To add to its popularity, Google has now introduced an update to the music app that allows users to switch between audio of a song to its music video.

In an official statement by Google, it was stated that switching between music videos and songs would amount to a mere tap on a button. Users will find a video/audio button at the top of the playback screens, clicking on which, will make them easy to navigate between audio and video of a song.

As per reports, this new update is currently available for over five million official music videos. But, if a user doesn’t want to play music video of a song, he/she can switch off the option from the settings section.

Besides, Google is in plans to replace the already existing Google Play Music with YouTube Music app.

Currently, the above said feature is only available for paid subscribers of YouTube Music app for both iOS and android subscribers, but the feature adds versatility to the user experience of YouTube Music.
