Kanye West's Donda partners with Jay-Z's Roc Nation

MUMBAI: Kanye West and Jay-Z extended their brotherly love to next level by partnering professionally once again. West's creative house Donda announced that it entered into partnership with Jay-Z's Roc Nation to manage all Donda music.

The partnership will focus on West's international recording brand and worldwide touring ventures. Both had in past collaborated for a studio album ‘Watch the Throne’ in 2011. Before the album, both had collaborated on their respective singles.

Founded in 2008, Roc Nation is an entertainment company, inclusive of artist, songwriter, producer and engineer management; music publishing; touring and merchandising; film and television; new business ventures; and a music label. It is home to diverse recording artistes, writers and producers including Rihanna, Shakira, Rita Ora, J. Cole, Timbaland and so on.

Donda- a multi-discipline design and content company started in 2009 with footwear collaboration with fashion house Louis Vuitton. In 2011, West officially branded Donda. The following year, Donda conceptualised and introduced an immersive new way to experience cinema: the seven-screen surround vision experience in Cannes, France. In 2013, Donda supervised the concept and design for West’s album Yeezus and tour. The company has designed and produced album packaging, staging, music videos and content for Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Big Sean, Pusha T to name a few.
