Tata Indicom launches first CDMA AM/FM phone

Tata Indicom has announced the launch of the first ever CDMA AM/FM enabled mobile phone – the Tata Indicom Radio Phone.

This new handset comes with a radio-inspired design with volume boosters for clarity of sound even in noisy environments. Along with the FM frequency channels, the handset comes equipped with AM too, a first amongst CDMA phones.

In a bid to rationalize the divide between urban and rural consumers, Tata Indicom has pioneered the introduction of a CDMA AM/FM phone to enable the mobile music experience for consumers across markets. The introduction of AM/FM enabled radio phones will fulfill the growing need for music and information on the move..., says  Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) President, Corporate Affairs, Milesh Ruparel.

Apart from the AM/FM radio and recorder it also has separate one touch keys for both the functions. It comes equipped with ergonomic features like a 1.8 inch TFT screen for better visibility and Hindi SMS facility.

It is powered with a battery that provides a super long standby time to ensure that the users have an uninterrupted mobile music experience. The Tata Indicom Radio Phone is available in stylish color options at a price of Rs 2199/- at all leading Tata Indicom outlets.
