Kasabian's 48:13 will be out in June
MUMBAI: English Rock band Kasabian announced its fifth studio album '48:13' which will be out on 9 June. However, until then Kasabian's fans can enjoy their single 'Eez-eh' which is available online.
The official website of the band mentioned names of the track which will make it to the album '48:13' -'Shiva', 'Bumblebee', 'Stevie', 'Mortis', 'Doomsday', 'Treat', 'Glass', 'Explodes', 'Levitation', 'Clouds', 'Eez-eh', 'Bow' and 'Sps'.
Sergio Pizzorno from the four member band said, "We had the confidence to be more direct, more honest with this album. I started to strip away layers rather than to just keep adding." According to previous reports, the new album is produced by Pizzorno. The album artwork and creative direction is by Aitor Throup. In November 2013, the band first revealed that they are working on an album by posting a teaser video.
The album is currently available for pre-order.
The Leicester band has released four studio albums namely Kasabian (2004), Empire (2006), West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum (2009), and Velociraptor! (2011). Their last album went to number one on the Official Album Chart.
The band will also be headlining day two of BBC Radio 1's Big weekend Glasgow 2014. Kasabian said, "Dear Radio 1 and Glasgow, we are going to keep you up all night." The band will be playing at Leicester's Victoria Park in June.
Tom Meighan, Sergio Pizzorno, Chris Edwards and Ian Matthews, complete the band.
