Sony BMG launches music visualizer iPod game
MUMBAI:Sony BMG Music Entertainment has released musika, an original music visualizer game, on the iTunes Store for play on Apple`s fifth generation iPod. musika creates beautiful visuals using the title of any song. Users can simply enjoy the imagery, or play along by pressing the center button in time with the letters in the song`s name to advance to more difficult levels displaying different visual effects. Utilizing each user`s iPod music library, this is a "one button" game for everyone, says a press release. musika was created by NanaOn-Sha President Masaya Matsuura, the creative force behind the first modern music video game `PaRappa the Rapper` for the original PlayStation(R). The title has been developed in collaboration with Method Solutions for the iPod. "musika is a natural extension of our existing relationship with the iPod and iTunes, and represents another step in our ongoing campaign to broaden our reach in the area of music-based mobile entertainment,"says Sony BMG Music Entertainment`s President, Global Digital Business and US Sales, Thomas Hesse.
