MUMBAI: The' Chahu Main Ya Na' singer, Palak Muchhal has lent her vocals for Aashiqui 2 once again but in Telugu version. The 22 year old songstress is excited to be a part of the new project.

"I am very excited to be a part of Aashiqui 2 once again. The music is the same, only the lyrics are different. The makers wanted to retain the original singers and thus I dubbed the songs, 'Meri Aashiqui' and 'Chahun Main Ya Na', said Muchhal, who can sing in 17 languages.

Recently, the singer dubbed six to seven songs in Kannada for a few films. "I sing songs in various languages on stage during my gigs too, including Kannada and Tamil. Before I started recording in Kannada I thought I would be done with the recording in an hour or so. But I took three hours, all thanks to the difficult words and pronunciations," explained Muchhal. She also revealed that she finds Telugu easier than Kannada.

The singer for the Gujarati song 'Photocopy' from the film 'Jai Ho', has to her credit six independent albums during her childhood and teenage days. In 2001, at the age of nine, her first album 'Child For Children' was released by Tips Music. Her second album 'Palken' was released, in the next two years.
