Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan to unveil studio album 'Back 2 Love' after seven years
MUMBAI: Pakistani singer Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan will unveil his first studio album in seven years. On 9 June this year, the 40 year old will unveil a new album titled 'Back 2 Love'. Khan has been signed by the record label Universal Music India for the release.
The album will feature ten soulful melodies, including collaborations with prolific Indian musicians including music composer duo Salim- Sulaiman, and it will also feature a duet with singer Shreya Ghoshal.
Qawaali singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan said, "I am excited about my signing with Universal Music Group and look forward in creating magic with 'Back 2 Love' as it is perhaps my best solo effort so far."
In 2012, he was awarded 'International Artist of the Decade' at the UK Asian Music Awards. Khan's famous tracks in Bollywood include 'Sajda' (My Name is Khan), 'Teri Ore' (Singh is King), 'O Re Piya' (Aaja Nachle), and 'Jiya Dhadak Dhadak' (Kalyug), to name a few amongst his works.
The lead track 'Zaroori Tha' will be released before the album and its video will feature Big Boss' fame Gauhar Khan and Kushal Tandon.

'Back 2 Love', which is Khan's fourth studio album, will be available for pre-order from 21 May onwards.
