MUMBAI: The 'Chahu Mein Ya Na' singer, Palak Muchhal has made her debut as a lyricist for the film'Amit Sahni Ki List' by writing some of the songs for the upcoming film. The music of the film will be composed by Muchhal's younger sibling- Palash who is better known for composing'Party Toh Banti Hai' from the film'Boothnath'.

"The songs I wrote for the film are'Sargoshi' and'Parchayee'. Anirudh Bhola and I have rendered vocals for'Sargoshi' while the other track will be sung by Sonu Nigamji. I was extremely excited about'Parchayee' because he took my lyrics to another world. However, I would rather be known as a singer rather than a lyricist."

Muchhal has rendered her vocals for the film 'Kick' and the song'Jumme Ki Raat Hai', which is composed by Himesh Reshammiya. "I have sung this track with Mika Singh, and we all know that whenever he is sharing the mic with you, you need to give it your best. The song was already trending on Twitter even before the release. This is my eighth song with Himesh Reshammiya and over time I have become extremely comfortable with him. I immediately understand his expectations from me. So yes it is great. "

‘Amit Sahni Ki List' is a comedy film directed by Ajay Bhuyan, and will be released on 18 July.
