MUMBAI: Marathi music composer duo Avinash-Vishwajeet aim to satirise the current state of Maharastrian village societies with their music for the new film, 'Sanngto Aika'.

The music of the film goes in accordance to the plot which revolves around a village stand-up comedian, played by Sachin Pilgaonkar. He is trying to make a change in the current state of the village.

Of the three songs in the film, Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam and Bela Shende have rendered their voice to 'Datale Abhaal'. Sachin Pilgaonkar himself has sung 'Fu Bai Fu', an interesting song that has been energetically portrayed in the film. About Pilgaonkar, Vishwajeet Joshi said, "Sachin Pilgaonkar is a versatile film personality. Be it as a film director, actor, producer or singer, every project he undertakes, he manages to do complete justice with it."

For the third song called 'Fantastic', Joshi says, "Urmila Dhangar's vigorous voice to 'Fantastic' is an experience to be taken first hand by music and dance lovers. It is a Lavani song which is also presented in the form of an 'item-song' for today's generation." About the composition of the song, Vishwajeet noted that, "Often today would you hear even the villagers speak in Marathi which has many words imported from the English language. So, Avinash and I got together and planned this."

The music and the first look of 'Sanngto Aika' was unveiled by Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan on 15 September. Avinash-Vishwajeet are known for 'Guru Pournima', 'Popat' and the upcoming musical hit, 'Ishq Wala Love'. In addition to tracks, their music will soon be heard in the upcoming Marathi thriller, '7, Roshan Villa'. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on 2 October.
