Talking about the project, Pathak said, "The idea to have such a project evolved a year back when I realised that there are so many talented artistes around me and I felt the need to have a project with them. Through the web series, I entered the web space for the first time."
After Artist Aloud approached him, he unpublished all his work from his channels and gave the rights to Artist Aloud. Artist Aloud business and product head Soumini Sridhara Paul said, "Studios Sound Garage is a testimony to the fact that good melodies always have a place in our hearts. When Artist Aloud saw the episodes, it did not matter to us that the artistes were not known. All that mattered was the sincerity that was very evident in every talent that was involved with the project, including the Producer Sanjay Pathak and every singer, musician or lyricist across each episode."
Currently, Pathak is planning on the second season of the web-series. He stated that the first season involved lot of learning which he plans to implement in the second edition.
