ECDC Chairman/CEO Kayode Aladesuyi said in a statement, "We will launch VMaestro, other media and retail contents on Vir2o this fall. Our 'nVite' technology will allow us to have more views and clicks for advertisers, and social shopping will take on a new meaning, With user interaction based on content such as movies, music and shopping, we anticipate a higher than average revenue per user compared to most social media platforms."
ECDC Comptroller Andrea Sousa said, “With our key subsidiaries (StudentConnect and Vir2o) now out of development and in deployment phase, 4th quarter 2014 will be a key turnaround quarter for us; the business units are finally maturing.”
Since the online music entertainment industry is expanding rapidly, Vir2o has undertaken this move to increase their app's popularity. VMaestro will offer advertisement based music service which will allow users to create music channels and playlists. Users will be able to access VMaestro on all 3 platforms - Mobile devices, Notebook and Desktops.
