Insomniac and Interscope Geffen A&M launched Insomniac Records; signs music producer Arty

MUMBAI: Insomniac and Interscope Geffen A&M got into a partnership to start a new label Insomniac Records which will be a home to many of the future EDM acts and is officially the first label for EDM music at Interscope.

Insomniac is renowned for producing some of the largest dance music events in the world. Interscope have been in the music business for more than 20 years.

DJ/Producer Arty is the first artiste signed by the label and will release an album later this year. He has already unveiled the teaser of the upcoming single ‘Up All Night’ featuring Angel Taylor, on his SoundCloud.

Insomniac founder and CEO Pasquale Rotella said, "Interscope and Insomniac formed Insomniac Records because we saw the need for a label that fosters the unique talents of dance music artistes while also giving them a powerful platform to share their music with fans around the world."

Rotella further added, "Interscope team has an unparalleled track record of success and I believe that with our combined efforts, Insomniac Records is going to launch the careers of undiscovered artists while also attracting established producers allowing them to create music that the fans will love."
