MUMBAI: Dance music festival- Vh1 Supersonic and digital entertainment company Hungama.com announced a strategic digital partnership on 23 December 2014.
Hungama has launched the ‘Supersonic EDM’ radio station across its platforms, which will feature EDM’s best hits and favourite artistes (does not include video).
The partnership will commence with Vh1 Supersonic Goa Fest in December 2014 and will include 30 club events and 30 college events that will run until March next year. Hungama.com CEO Siddhartha Roy said, “This is our major partnership in the EDM space. EDM is one of the most popular music genres at present. We will be able to communicate to the EDM fans through this partnership. We plan to attract huge EDM fans to our platform.” The launch of the station on the Hungama app will be followed by promotion on their digital platforms.

Vh1 Supersonic, which began in 2013 is now an IP that has increased its reach among consumers with 50 campus gigs and club nights leading up to the main festival scheduled from 27th to 30th December Goa.
