MUMBAI: Big FM moved up in Mumbai and held the top position with a market share of 19.3 per cent, TSL of 6.53 and TARP of 1.4 per cent. While the station had the same market share as Radio City in the previous week, Big FM’s market share increased by 0.2 per cent last week. The figure is according to RAM stats of the 4th week of 2015.
In Mumbai, Radio Mirchi held the third position with a market share of 13.6 per cent with Fever FM in fourth place with a market share of 12.5 per cent. The other private station to hold a double digit market share was Red FM with 11.3 per cent.
In the capital, Fever FM maintained its top position with a market share if 19.2 per cent and TSL of 4.51. Radio’s hottest station Radio Mirchi held second position with a market share of 12.7 per cent, with Big FM behind by 0.1 per cent. Both stations registered a TARP of 0.9 per cent in the city. Radio City, meanwhile, maintained a TARP of 0.9 per cent and was in fourth position with a market share of 12.3 per cent. It was followed by Red FM with a market share of 10.4 per cent.
Radio Mirchi topped in Kolkata yet again with a market share of 20.1 per cent, TSL of 4.38 and TARP of 1.6 per cent. Big FM held second position in the city with a market share of 16.7 per cent, TSL of 5.2 and TARP of 1.3 per cent, and Oye FM kept its third position, with a market share of 10.4 per cent, TSL of 3.42 and TARP of 0.8 per cent.
In Bangalore, Radio City stayed strong with a market share of 23.9 per cent, TSL of 9.51 per cent and TARP of 2.6 per cent. In second position was Big FM with a market share of 22.8 per cent, and was followed by Radio Mirchi, Fever FM and Red FM.
