MUMBAI: AEG Facilities, a stand-alone affiliate of AEG, has appointed Venancio de Castro as the Executive Director for AEG Brazil. The announcement was made by AEG Facilities' COO Chuck Steedman.

At AEG Facilities, Venancio will be responsible for the day-to-day management of AEG Brazil's corporate staff and office in S?o Paulo. He will oversee AEG Facilities' venue operations at Itaipava Arena Pernambuco (Recife, PE, Brasil), Maracan? Complex (Rio de Janeiro, RJ, Brasil) and Allianz Parque (S?o Paulo, SP, Brasil).

He will also look after AEG Facilities' business operations in Brazil's, as well as work on identifying future business opportunities throughout Brazil and South America.

Prior to joining AEG Facilities, Venancio was with as the AIG Seguros Brasil SA as the CMO. He has served as VP of consumer products with MasterCard.
