MUMBAI: The 3rd edition of Jiyo Dil Se Awards presented by LIC culminated in a gala award ceremony at Ahmedabad. The awards acknowledged and honored the hardwork and commitment of the common people selflessly towards the betterment of the society.
Speaking on the initiative, MY FM CEO Harrish M Bhatia said, “We are very proud of what Jiyo Dil Se Awards has achieved in the last 3 years. Not only we have discovered heroes in our own society but we have given them a platform where their work can be highlighted and recognized acting as an inspiration to millions of others. We will continue to pursue this initiative and give back to the society so that this platform acts as an inspiration to many more people.”
The awards were a culmination of a tedious process which lasted for over a period of 3 months in which listener’s nominated people who have been working selflessly for the society. The entries were then shortlisted by eminent jury and put up in public domain for voting the winners. The results were tabulated by Ernst & Young, the Process Advisor and official tabulators for the awards.
The guest of honour for the awards night were Saurabhbhai Patel – Finance and Industry Minister, Govt. of Gujarat, Bhupendrasinh Chudasma – Education Minister, Govt. of Gujarat and Kirit Bhai Solanki (Member of Parliament) were the guests of honour for the event. Other dignitaries present at the award ceremony included Ajay Kumar SDM LIC, M.K. Kemmu Secretary Corporate Communication LIC, Rajesh Patel MD - Trueman Group, Jignesh Director Dhruv Group, Ajeet Patel MD – Everest Group amongst others
The Jiyo Dil Se awards night saw standup performance by famous comedian Kiku Sharda (Palak of Comedy Night with Kapil) which had the audiences bursting into peals of laughter, followed by the mesmerizing performances by Priya Panchal (Famous Bollywood Singer), Prachi Garud (India’s Got Talent Fame) . The night turned out as an ideal platform for the proud 18 Heroes for celebration after bagging the awards.
