Moto E 2nd Gen to launch in India 10 March

MUMBAI: After launching the device last month, Motorola has finally made its new Android Lollipop 5.0 smartphone Moto E second generation available for purchase in the Indian market.

The new Moto E features 4.5-inch qHD with 540×960 display resolution with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. The smartphone is powered by 1.2GH quad-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and a 400MHz Adreno 306 GPU. It is also packed with 2390 mAh battery which is alleged to have the capacity to work for a full day on single charge.

The Motorola Moto E has 1GB RAM with 8GB internal storage space, expandable to 32GB via micro SD card. There is also a VGA camera in front, while the rear camera is 5 megapixels and is said to record 720p video. The camera has an auto focus feature and also it has been supplemented with sensors to trigger a Quick Capture meaning the camera gets started just by shaking the handset. The Motorola Moto E weighs around 145 grams and provides 4G/LTE speed.

The Moto E second generation which carries a price tag of Rs. 6,999, has been given a release date of 10 March for India.
