MUMBAI: The Commission Presents, a successful East Coast-based concert promotion firm, has effectively forayed into the artist management arena with two significant initial signings, inking both award winning rapper Lil Kim and Latin artist Victor Manuelle. Having promoted concerts with both artists, The Commission Presents established a strong working relationship with both acts, thereby facilitating their new business affiliations.

Widely known as the Queen Bee, hip-hop's notable lady rapper Lil Kim is a Grammy Award winning artist, an international favorite, who was named in 2014 by Billboard Magazine as one of the "female rappers who changed hip-hop." She has appeared in several films and television shows, sold countless albums worldwide and is an established, well-known brand.

Popular Grammy Award nominated Latin artist Victor Manuelle is one of the best-selling salsa performers of his generation.  Known to his legions of fans as El Sonero de la Juventud ("The Singer of Youths"), he garnered overwhelming visibility when he sang the late, greatCelia Cruz's "La Vida Es Un Carnaval" ("Life Is A Carnival") at her 2003 funeral in St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York City, a performance whose footage traveled around the globe, sealing his place in Latin music's hierarchy.  Manuelle just scored his milestone 25th #1 on the Billboard Tropical Songs Chart with his outstanding "Agua Bendita," the record for most #1's on the chart.
