Indigo becomes first private FM station to launch its mobile app 'Indigo Music'

NEW DELHI: Bangalore's international music and entertainment destination, Indigo, today launched its mobile app ‘Indigo Music', thus becoming the first private FM Channel to do so.

The app, now available for download on both the iOS and Android platforms, has been developed with the aim of offering a single platform for fans to connect with all the brand extensions of Indigo which include Radio Indigo, Indigo Live Music Bar and Indigo Live.

Indigo MD Sanjay Prabhu said, "It has always been our endeavour to offer our fans a 360 degree platform for our listeners to engage with the brand. In 2012 we launched our web-chat and whatsapp communication service and now the mobile app that brings Radio Indigo, Indigo Live Music Bar and Indigo Live all under one platform."

Powered by Muze CXR, Indigo Music keeps Bangaloreans updated with the latest at Indigo. The app has been equipped to create a social community where listeners of Radio Indigo can discuss topics and issues with each other and also communicate with live radio through the day.

Users can also earn points by engaging with the app and redeem those points at Indigo Live Music Bar or at any Indigo Live event that happens in the country.

National sales director Suresh Sanyasi said, "The app has been designed to offer tremendous value additions to our advertisers and sponsors. While radio offers a platform to our advertisers to showcase their products, the Indigo Music app will allow the same advertisers to engage with our valued listeners."

The app also enables a host of other services with which one can request, share, dedicate or even participate in live on-air contests. By downloading Indigo Music, Bangaloreans can win exclusive access to the hottest gigs and events of Indigo Live or at Indigo Live Music Bar. Be it to reserve a table or to be updated with the latest in the live music scene, Indigo Music app keeps you ahead of your friends.
