MUMBAI: While the other stations maintained status quo in the country's metros, Radio City managed to better its position in Mumbai and Bangalore, even as it stayed at the same keel in the capital. Big FM bettered its lead performance marginally in Bangalore, and Mirchi held sway over the other three metros despite a few hiccups.
Bangalore: Big FM consolidated its position in Bangalore, climbing 0.3 points during week three, ending the week with a share of 19.3 per cent Radio Mirchi too climbed 0.1 points during the week to end with a share of 17.9 per cent. Fever stayed at third position but slipped 0.1 points to end with a market share of 15.2 per cent. Radio City with a share of 12.5 per cent, came in fourth. AIR FM Rainbow channel, despite climbing 0.9 points, was at number five with a share of 11 per cent.
Delhi: Radio Mirchi held on to lead position with a share of 24.7 per cent, even as Fever climbed a marginal 0.1 points to end the week with a share of 18.8 per cent. AIR FM Gold was third with a share of 17.2 per cent, despite having lost 1.2 points during the week. Red FM was a distant fourth with a share of 9.2 per cent, while Radio City contended with a share of 8.2 per cent, and Big FM came in with a share of 6.7 per cent.
Kolkata: Mirchi lost 0.2 points in Kolkata to end the week with a share of 20.6 per cent, but Big FM was a poor second with a share of 16.8 per cent, having lost a similar 0.2 points. Friends FM lost 0.5 points, but stayed in third place with a share of 13.5 per cent. Aamar FM on the other hand, gained 0.3 points to end the week with a share of 11.1 per cent, ahead of Fever which stayed at fifth place with a share of 7.6 per cent.
Mumbai: Mirchi consolidated its position in Mumbai with a share of 17.6 per cent, having gained 0.4 points during the week. Red FM gained 0.5 points but stayed at second position with a share of 14 per cent. Radio City was a close third with a share of 13.3 per cent, having climbed 0.2 percentage points. Big FM was a gainer too, having upped 0.4 points and taking home a share of 12.1 per cent. Fever came in close behind with a share of 11.9 per cent.
