MUMBAI: Big FM has pioneered the way to create content that is both, innovative and engaging. Adding yet another feather to their hat, the radio network launches an all-new segment in the popular breakfast show – ‘Dilli Meri Jaan’ called ‘Dilli Meri Jaan Ki BIG Adalat’.
Empowering citizens with the right to question the developments in their area of residence – infrastructure, water facilities, health management, education, poverty and more, the ‘Big Adalat’ will enable listeners to voice their concerns and demand answers directly from MPs (members of the Parliament) and the cabinet ministers. A total of 11 MPs will be present during the course of the show to provide listeners with answers to each of their queries.
Through the BIG Adalat, Big FM will help shed some light on citizens’ issues prevailing in Delhi/NCR in-line with the social problems taking place there and demanding answers from the 11 MPs themselves. In a chat show format, listeners can call-in and speak to them LIVE on radio or send an SMS with their query to be answered from the minister of their choice.
The show goes on-air every Wednesday and Thursday between 8 am – 9 am with two MPs present in the studio respectively. Each segment will also feature high-profile MPs in conversation with RJ Richa Anirudh on important issues that shape our city and will invite on-call noted journalists, activists, local authority and listeners.
Speaking of the campaign, Ashwin Padmanabhan, EVP and National business head, Reliance Broadcast Network Limited stated, “The BIG Adalat is the need of the hour. With so many issues prevailing in our society, our endeavour is to provide a platform for caring citizens to voice their opinions and concerns directly with the caretakers. Radio being a powerful mode of interaction facilitates extensive media outreach throughout the country and this is a great opportunity to create, connect, and bring in participation on one platform.”
Big FM is known for spearheading clutter-breaking initiatives over the years and has been consistent in delivering campaigns that engage with the listeners. Its expansive reach coupled with differentiated content and innovative crusades has enabled Big FM to become architects of societal change.
