MUMBAI: The station which would be king, the radio channel that has spread its presence to over 45 cities now - Red FM has slowly inched up in three metros in week 12.
Not that it created much dent in the overall RAM ratings for the week, which stayed more or less at the same level they were the previous week.
Mirchi ruled in three metros, and Big FM though it slipped a mite in Bangalore, held fast at number one position.
Bangalore: Big FM lost 0.1 points to end the week with a market share of 19.4 per cent, while Mirchi that climbed 0.5 points ended the week at second position with a share of 17.7 per cent. Fever came close on Mirchi's heels, having lost 0.2 percentage points, ending the week with a share of 15.2 per cent. Radio City came up next with a share of 12.8 per cent.
Delhi: In the capital, Mirchi lost 0.1 points and ended the week at number one position with a share of 24.6 per cent. Fever came in second with a share of 18.8 per cent, while AIR FM Gold climbed 0.8 points to end with a share of 18 per cent Red FM maintained status quo with a share of 9.8 per cent.
Kolkata: Mirchi dropped 0.5 points to end the week with a share of 20.2 per cent, while Big FM stayed at second position even after climbing 0.1 points to end the week with a share of 17 per cent. Friends and Aamar both lost 0.3 and 0.1 points respectively, to end with shares of 11.9 and 10.7 per cent respectively. Red FM climbed 0.2 points to end with a share of 9.1 per cent.
Mumbai: All the top three - Mirchi, Red FM and Radio City gained 0.1 points respectively. Mirchi had a share of 17.2 per cent, Red FM followed with a share of 14.2 per cent and Radio City followed with a share of 13.1 per cent.
