Big FM holds top spot in Mumbai for second consecutive week

MUMBAI: Big FM has held on to the top spot in Mumbai for the second consecutive week according to the RAM statistics for week 31.

In Delhi, Fever FM continues to be unbeaten throughout the year, so far, with week 31 being no different. Radio Mirchi outshined other radio stations in Kolkata, while in Bengaluru, Radio City was spotted perched in the first position.

In Mumbai, Big FM registered a market share of 17.3 per cent, TSL of Big FM stands at 6.04 and TARP of 1.3 per cent. Radio City held the second spot in the city, with a market share of 17.2 per cent, TSL of 5.28 and TARP of 1.2 per cent. The third position was taken by Fever FM with a market share of 14.3 per cent, followed by Radio Mirchi and Red FM. Big FM’s show 'Suhana Safar with Anu Kapoor' registered the highest TARP of 4.1 per cent in the city.

In Delhi, Fever FM registered a market share of 19.7 per cent, TSL of 4.37 and TARP of 1.4 per cent. The second position was held by Radio Mirchi with a market share of 13.4 per cent, TSL of 3.35 and TARP of one per cent. Big FM held the third spot with market share of 12.4 per cent and TSL of 3.39. Meanwhile, Radio City and Red FM held a market share of 12.2 per cent and 11.1 per cent respectively. Fever FM’s show 'Evening Drive with Nitin' reported TARP of 2.2 per cent.

Radio Mirchi in Kolkata reported a market share of 19.3 per cent, TSL of 4.47 and TARP of 1.6 per cent. Next in line was Big FM that held the second spot with a market share of 15.4 per cent, followed by Fever FM and Oye FM. Radio Mirchi’s show 'Kaali Kotha with RJ Jaganath' registered a TARP of 4.5 per cent.

In Bengaluru, Radio City reported a market share of 22.4 per cent, TSL of 9.07 and TARP of 2.5 per cent. The second position in the city was held by Big FM with a market share of 20.8 per cent, TSL of 8.11 and TARP of 2.3 per cent. Radio Mirchi held third position with a market share of 17.9 per cent and TSL of 7.41. Close on the heels of Radio Mirchi was Fever FM with a market share of 13.4 per cent and TARP of 1.5 per cent. Radio City’s show 'City Mathu with RJ Pradeepa' reported highest TARP of 5.5 per cent.
