T-Series and Colors join hands for 'Suron Ke Rang - Salaam Shri Gulshan Kumar'

MUMBAI: Indian music label- T-Series, and TV channel- Colors will be seen coming together to develop a music property ‘Suron Ke Rang – Salaam Shri Gulshan Kumar’ that involves 40 musical stalwarts, and 60 popular and unique compositions across three decades. The concert will be a tribute to founder of T-Series, the late Gulshan Kumar.

The event will be held on 22nd September in Mumbai and the concert will be hosted by popular Bollywood singer- Sonu Nigam and singer-actor Ayushmann Khurrana.

Renowned artists like AR Rahman, Shankar Mahadevan, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Himesh Reshammiya, Shaan, Alka Yagnik, Udit Narayan, Abhijeet, Anup Jalota, Pritam Chakarborty, Raju Singh and Sapna Mukherjee among others, will rock the event. Additionally, music director Jeet Ganguli has composed a special song for the concert, with lyrics penned by Manoj Muntashir.

The evening will also have names like Shilpa Rao, Shalmali Kholgade, Palak Muchhal,Tulsi Kumar, Mithoon, Benny Dayal, Ankit Tiwari, Meet Bros, Akriti Kakkar, Amaal and Armaan Malik and DJ Chetas, who will all come together for the musical extravaganza.

The event has been conceptualised by Kickstart Entertainment, and will air on Colors later this year.
