MUMBAI: IndianTelevison.com is proud to announce its first-ever scholarship for the Berlin School of Creative Leadership’s prestigious executive MBA program. This special scholarship opportunity has been established by IndianTelevision.com to continue encouraging and supporting the creative industry in India, like its other initiatives including the Indian Telly Awards, The Content Hub, Qalam, The New Talent Awards and The Indian Digital TV Honours.
The scholarship will provide 20,000 Euro in tuition support for a top creative executive from India to participate in the part-time global executive MBA program starting in March 2016.Up to three additional finalists may be eligible to receive 10,000 Euro each in partial-tuition support.
Candidates should be readers of IndianTelevision.com, the pre-eminent industry platform for TV, advertising and media executives in India. Preference will go to those who are working in India, although applicants do not have to be from the country. The scholarship award judges are seeking accomplished senior executives in the TV-related industries with a strong professional background and track record of creative or leadership excellence. The application deadline is November 16, 2015.

Given IndianTelevision.com’s unique position as the leading forum for the TV industry in the country, applicants need to demonstrate leadership (or leadership potential) in the related sectors and disciplines of TV or advertising and media that Indian TV celebrates.
Entries will be judged according to their overall profile and application. The winner will also be chosen based on their response to IndianTelevision.com’s scholarship essay question:
"How can India leverage its creative prowess to build soft power to drive the Indian economy and how will you, as a leader in the creative industry, influence and make this a reality?"
Note: The full EMBA tuition is EUR 53,000, so participants will still need to pay/finance the remainder.
All forms of scholarship support are not transferable and cannot be paid out in cash.
To apply, scholarship candidates need to submit the completed application, using the Berlin School's online application portal.

The program will start on 6 March, 2016 in Berlin.
The executive MBA program includes 5 separate two-week modules that can be completed in 18-24 months, depending on the schedule you choose. The program is FIBAA accredited and offered by the Berlin School of Creative Leadership in affiliation with Germany’s largest private university, the Steinbeis University Berlin.
The MBA program modules include
- Berlin (3 modules, each 2 weeks long)
- USA (1 week in New York followed by 1 week in Berkeley)
- Asia (1 week in Tokyo followed by 1 week in Shanghai)
