RAM week 25: Big FM continues top run in Mumbai, drops in other metros

MUMBAI: While Big FM managed to hold the first position in Mumbai with a share of 17 per cent (dropped 0.8 per cent share from last week) and a TSL of 6.06, Big FM in Kolkata came in second with a 16 per cent share and TSL of 5.01.

Same as last week, Radio City and Radio Mirchi seized the second and third positions respectively in Mumbai, with shares of 16.2 per cent and 13.2 per cent and TSLs of 5.17 and 4.18. Fever FM came in fourth with a share of 12.8 per cent and a TSL of 6.35. Red FM, Radio Nasha, and Oye! FM got the fifth, sixth and seventh position respectively with the share of 11.5, 6.3, and 3.2 percent along with TSL of 4.08, 5.49, and 2.49 in that order.

Fever FM Delhi remained the only leader with a substantial margin over its rivals, compared to last week. Fever FM got 18 per cent of share with the TSL of 5.02. Radio Mirchi managed to hold the second position with the shares of 13.2 per cent with TSL of 3.32, whereas Radio City had to be happy with the third position with a share of 11.2 per cent and TSL of 3.3.Radio Nasha increased its share to 10.5 per cent and TSL of 4.01 and positioned at fourth.

Big FM holds the fifth position with the improvement in the rating of 9.7 per cent, a 0.1 per cent increase compared to the previous week in Delhi. Red FM, Oye FM, and Hit FM got the sixth, seventh and eighth position with the share of 9.3, 5.3, and 4.7 per cent with the TSL of 2.54, 2.33, and 2.27.

In Kolkata, Radio Mirchi dropped its share by 0.7 per cent but remained on top with a share of 19.6 and the TSL of 4.31. Big FM took the next position with 16 per cent and TSL of 5.01. Fever FM, Oye FM, and Red FM got the position of third, fourth and fifth with shares of 14, 11.2, and 10.7 per cent and TSLs of 5.25, 4.25, and 3.26 respectively. Aamar FM positioned sixth with the share of 8.5 per cent with the TSL of 3.34, Radio One at seventh with 7.6 per cent along with the TSL of 3.17.

Friends FM came in last with a share of 3.9 per cent with TSL of 2.38.

In Bengaluru, Radio City increased its share from 22.4 to 23.2 per cent with TSL of 9.41 and remained at the peak. Big FM remained at second position with increasing shares of 20.3 per cent with the TSL of 8 compared to last week (19.9 per cent & TSL 7.53). Radio Mirchi, Fever FM, and Red FM got the third, fourth and fifth positions with the share of 16.9, 15.1, and 5 per cent along with the TSL of 7.28, 8.4, and 4.16.

Radio One and Radio Indigo came last with the share of 4.3 and 1.8 per cent with the TSL of 4.05 and 2.54.
