Except Bengaluru, top stations drop shares across the country

MUMBAI: In the city, the top station dropped shares - Big FM (shares - 16.1 per cent), while Fever FM (14 per cent) dropped shares and the position to end the week 30 (17 July to 23 July) on the third spot. Replacing Fever FM on second position is Radio City with shares of 14.1 per cent. Radio Mirchi (13.1 per cent shares), Red FM (12.1 per cent shares), Radio Nasha (6.9 per cent shares) and Oye! FM (3.6 per cent shares) retain last week’s positions at fourth, fifth and sixth positions respectively. Redtro announced its arrival with 0.4 per cent shares for its first week on RAM ratings.

The top three Delhi radio stations dropped shares - Fever FM (shares 17.3 per cent), Radio Mirchi (shares 13 per cent) and Radio City (11.2 per cent). Radio Nasha dropped a position and 0.5 per cent, and replaced by Red FM (10 per cent) at the fourth position with shares of 9.7 per cent. Big FM (9.5 per cent), Hit FM (5.3 per cent) and Oye! FM (5.3 per cent) retained the last week’s position in Delhi for week 30.

Kolkata and Bengaluru had unchanged charts for the week 30. Radio Mirchi Kolkata (19.4 per cent shares) and Radio City Bengaluru - the only top station not to drop shares - (23.9 per cent shares) top the respective cities, followed by Big FM Kolkata with 16.1 per cent shares and its Bengaluru station with 19.6 per cent shares. Fever FM Kolkata (13 per cent shares), Oye! FM (11.4 per cent shares) Red FM (10.4 per cent shares), Aamar FM (10.2 per cent shares) follow retaining last week’s positions. In Bengaluru, Radio Mirchi with 17.5 per cent shares retained the third position, followed by Fever FM and Red FM. Radio Mirchi 95 ended the week with 0.7 per cent shares.
