RAM Week 32: Radio Nasha brushes past Big FM in Delhi

MUMBAI: Radio Mirchi increased its share from 13.7 per cent to 14.5 per cent to beat Radio City and Fever FM in Mumbai. While Mirchi got the second place, Big FM held its position steady at the top with 0.3 per cent rise, leading to 15.1 per cent share and a TSL of 5.08 in week 32.

Radio City (share - 14.5 per cent and TSL 5.07) dropped 0.8 per cent in shares compared to last week, resulting in the third position for itself in week 32. Fever FM finished the week at the fourth position with a share of 13.7 per cent and TSL of 6.32. Red FM and Radio Nasha followed at the fifth and sixth positions respectively with shares of 11.4 per cent and 7.2 per cent in that order.

Oye! FM and Radio One got the seventh and eighth positions with shares of 3.3 per cent and 2.9 per cent.

Brand new station Redtro finished the week with share of 1.2 per cent and TSL of 3.04.

In Delhi, Fever FM has been dominant for a while now. It finished this week with a share of 17.5 per cent and TSL of 5.08 (up 0.3 per cent from last week). HT Media's Radio Nasha that was in the sixth place in Delhi charts last week; beat Big FM, and jumped to the fifth position with the enhanced share of 9.9 per cent and TSL of 4.27. Big FM got the sixth position with share of 9.7 per cent and TSL of 3.2 (down 0.2 per cent from last week).

Radio Mirchi and Radio City held their second and third positions with shares of 13.1 per cent and TSL of 3.47 and 10.7 per cent and TSL of 3.13 in that order. Red FM finished week 32 at fourth position with shares of 10.3 and TSL of 3.05. Hit FM and Oye! FM finished the week with shares of 5.9 and 5.6 per cent along with TSL of 3.15 and 2.51.

In Kolkata, Radio Mirchi dropped its shares to 0.6 per cent (20.7 share last week) continued its flow at the top with 20.1 per cent share and TSL of 4.28. Big FM took second position with 15.7 per cent share and TSL of 5.13, and Fever finished at the third position with the shares of 14.6 per cent and TSL of 5.38. Oye! FM, Aamar FM and Red FM finished the week at fourth, fifth and sixth positions in that order.

Friends FM ended last with a share of 4.9 per cent and TSL of 2.51.

In Bengaluru, Radio City increased its share from 23.5 per cent to 23.9; and remained at the top. Big FM held on to its second position (Share 20 per cent and TSL – 7.46). Radio Mirchi, Fever FM and Red FM also continued to hold the third, fourth and fifth positions, unchanged from last week.

Radio Indigo and Radio Mirchi 95 finished week 32 at the bottom positions with shares of 1.7 and 0.9 per cent and TSL of 2.49 and 6.32.
