RAM WK 50/10: AIR stations lose most in week of smaller shifts

MUMBAI: There was not much change in the market shares per Radio Audience Measurement (RAM) data for Week 50 (5-11 Dec /10) across all people 12+ at all places of listening. In the relatively smaller shifts of shares, AIR stations gained and lost the most. Amongst the gains -- Akashvani in Mumbai (1.4%), Vividh Bharti in Delhi (1.3%), AIR FM Rainbow in Kolkata and AIR Vividh Bharti in Bangalore gained 0.7% each.


Key gains and losses in the 4 metros were:

Gains (%):

(1)   Mumbai: Akashvani (1.4), Radio One (0.4), Vividh  Bharti (0.4)

2)   Delhi: Vividh Bharti (1.3), Big FM (0.7), AIR FM Gold (0.4), Hit 95 FM (0.3)

(3)   Kolkata: AIR FM Rainbow (0.7). Oye! (0.3), Power FM (0.2)

(4)   Bangalore: Air Vividh Bharti (0.7), Radio Indigo (0.2)

Losses (%):

(1)   Mumbai: AIR FM 2 Gold (0.6), Radio City (0.6), AIR FM Rainbow (0.5), Big FM (0.4), Fever (0.3)

(2)   Delhi: Red FM (1), Akashvani (0.8), Radio Mirchi (0.3), Radio One and Radio City (0.2)

(3)   Kolkata: Big FM (0.4), Radio One (0.4), Mirchi (0.3), Friends FM (0.2)

(4)   Bangalore: Radio One and AIR FM 1 Rainbow (0.4)
