Shweta Pandit features in 'Tere Hoke Rahenge' Unplugged
MUMBAI: 'Do Dhaari Talwariyan' singer Shweta Pandit had crooned 'Tere Hoke Rahenge' in the Emraan Hashmi starrer 'Raja Natwarlal' and has come up with an unplugged version for the same.
The decision to record the unplugged version came after she got an overwhelming response for the 'Tere Hoke Rahenge' reprise. "Arijit Singh has sung the male version of the song, whilst the female vocals are rendered by me, and I received an overwhelming response from my fans. They (my fans) told me that they were anxiously waiting for the release of the movie just to see my song. So instead of making them wait, I decided to put out an unplugged version featuring me."
In one of the scenes Pandit is seen swimming underwater, despite being scared of water and not knowing how to swim. When asked who convinced her to take a deep plunge into the ocean, she said, "Actually when I visited the place, the water was so clear and we could see the corals so I thought it would be foolish shoot underwater. Even now when I see that scene and I pause it and wonder if I really have done this."
It took a week to wind up the shoot of the song, since it was shot in Italy and Switzerland. "My dream for shooting in Switzerland was finally fulfilled. I have only ever seen these locations in Yash Raj movies. Also I would really thank my team Emon Mitro (DOP) and Ivano Fucci (Executive Producer) for their support," she concluded.
