The fans have given a crazy response to this release; however they are all baffled about the video of the song. It was much unexpected that Swift would launch just a lyrical video.

This song has a somewhat strict electronic tone with a little bit of unsmiling genre attached to it.

This song is very beautiful in its own way. It feels honest, exhausted and wounded at the same time. The lyrics revolve around the metaphors attached to an archer. It reflects contradictions (Who could ever leave me darling//But who could stay, I don’t want that// but what if I do?). The lyrics also portray a suspicious state of the mind in a might be happy relationship but areas of old fears not escaping (cause cruelty wins in movies, I search for your dark side, All of my enemies started out friends.)
