Shah Rukh Khan unveils Ra.One music in Tamil & Telgu

MUMBAI: Shah Rukh Khan launched the Tamil and Telugu versions of the songs from his much awaited movie Ra.One in Chennai. The world premier of the Tamil songs was done on the official Ra.One YouTube channel. The �Chammak Challo' and romantic �Dildaara' Tamil teaser generated huge response from the fans. Shah Rukh Khan is leaving no stone unturned to make sure that the music of Ra.One is loved and appreciated by the entire country. MTV O Music Awards to honour Steve Jobs

MUMBAI: In its second edition, MTV O Music Awards will pay a musical tribute to the late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, to honour his contributions in the digital music sphere. The homage will feature an up-and-coming artiste performing an iconic song. So far the announced performers and presenters include Kelly Clarkson, the Band Perry, Demi Lovato, Mac Miller, Midi Mafia and DJ Diamond Kuts. The awards also attempt at breaking into the Guinness records books by hosting the longest dance party in history, looking to surpass the 55-hour current record.

Rabe to be Bertelsmann chairman & CEO from 1 January 2012

MUMBAI: The supervisory board of Bertelsmann AG has appointed Thomas Rabe, currently CFO of the group, as its future chairman and CEO. Rabe will succeed the current chairman and CEO Hartmut Ostrowski on 1 January 2012. Ostrowski is resigning from the executive board for personal reasons and will be moving to the supervisory board. The changeover takes place amicably and by mutual consent. Ostrowski joined Bertelsmann AG in 1982 and has worked for the company in various functions ever since, with only a brief interruption.

The four-time Grammy winner Swift is the youngest artiste to receive such an honour. The past recipients of the title include Reba McEntire, Black Eyed Peas lead singer Fergie (2010) and Beyonce (2009). Adele leads 'American Music Awards' nominations

MUMBAI: British singer Adele is leading the nomination for 'American Music Awards' with four categories including Favorite Female Artist, Favorite Adult Contemporary Artist, Favorite Album and  Artist of the Year category. Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Lil Wayne, Katy Perry and Rihanna followed Adele with three nominations each, whereas Beyonce, Bruno Mars, Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, Jason Aldean, Kanye West and LMFAO have all been nominated in two categories. Katy Perry and Pitbull were announced as performers for the AMAs.
