Sony Music Entertainment strikes deal with Swedish Independent TEN Music Group

MUMBAI: Sony Music Entertainment and Swedish music company TEN Music Group have inked a multi-year agreement to develop new artistes under a new artist development-focused strategic relationship covering global A&R and distribution. As per the deal, Sony Music will have exclusive first-look rights to the recordings and releases of all artists signed to TEN, and provide TEN with offices in London, Los Angeles and New York.

Malkit Singh to launch two albums after four years

MUMBAI: After taking Bhangra music across shores and receiving various accolades for his talent, Punjabi singer Malkit Singh is set to launch two new albums for his fans. For the last four years, the ‘Gur Nalo Ishq Mita’ singer has been busy touring and working on the lyrics and music of his two albums that will be finally launched this year. The first album ‘Sikh Hunda Mann’ will release in the second week of June. Earlier, it was slated to release on Baisakhi last month.
