MUMBAI: Per Radio Audience Measurement (RAM) data for Week 48 (20-27 Nov/10) across all people 12+ at all places of listening, AIR stations have lost the maximum share combined across Bangalore, Mumbai and Kolkata. Radio Mirchi and Radio One were the main gainers in that order. In Mumbai, Kolkata and Delhi, Radio Mirchi retained its stranglehold on the Number One Position, while Big FM continued on top in Bangalore.
Key gains and losses in the 4 metros were:
Gains:
(1) Mumbai: Radio One (1.5%), Red FM (1.1%), Fever and Oye (1%) and Mirchi (0.9%)
(2) Delhi: Radio Mirchi (0,8%), Fever and Hit FM (0.7%), Red FM (0.5%)
(3) Kolkata: Fever FM (0.8%), Friends FM (0.5%)
(4) Bangalore: Radio One and Radio Mirchi (1.3%), Big FM (1%), Radio City (0.9%), Red FM (0.8%)
Losses:
(1) Mumbai: AIR FM 2 Gold (2.2%), AIR FM 1 Rainbow (1.7%), Aakashwani (0.7%), Vividh Bharti (0.6%), Radio City (0.5%)
(2) Delhi: AIR FM 2 Gold (1.7%), Big FM (0.7%)
(3) Kolkata: AIR FM Gold and AIR FM 1 Rainbow (0.5%), Aakashwani (0.4%)
(4) Bangalore: AIR FM 1 Rainbow (3.3%), AIR FM1 Vividh Bharti (1.6%), Aakashwani (0.4%)
