Radio City strikes Radio Mirchi; Big FM rules the roost in Mumbai

MUMBAI: The Radio Audience Measurement (RAM) has released the data for Week 33. Mumbai was again conquered by Big FM. Big FM increased its shares from 15.1 to 15.3 per cent; leading in Mumbai similar to last week. Radio City beats Radio Mirchi with shares of 14.2 per cent and TSL of 4.28.

Radio Mirchi got the third position with shares of 13.8 per cent and TSL of 4.28. Fever FM secured the fourth position with shares of 6.27 along with TSL of 0.9, where as Red FM got the fifth position with shares of 11.7 per cent and TSL 3.55. Radio Nasha, Oye! FM and Radio One finished the week as sixth, seventh and eighth with shares of 7.1, 3.4, 3.1 per cent and TSL of 4.4, 2.46 and 2.14 in that order.

Redtro, the new channel got the ninth position with increasing (Last week 1.2 per cent and TSL - 3.04) shares of 2.2 per cent and TSL of 5.22.

In Kolkata, Radio Mirchi increased its shares from 20.1 to 20.5 per cent and TSL of 4.27, continued its run at the crest. Big FM took the second position with 16.3 per cent share and TSL of 4.55, and Fever finished at the third position with the shares of 14.7 per cent and TSL of 5.21. Oye! FM, Aamar FM, and Red FM finished the week at fourth, fifth and sixth positions respectively.

Friends FM ended last with a share of 4.2 per cent and TSL of 2.34.

The first placed radio station in Delhi, Fever FM finished the week with shares of 17.5 per cent and TSL of 5.1. Radio Mirchi (13.2 per cent) and Radio City (10.4 per cent) at second and third positions similar to last week’s position. Red FM ended at fourth position with 10.2 per cent share and TSL of 3.04. Radio Nasha finished the week at the fifth place with shares of 10.1 per cent and TSL of 4.11.

Big FM decreased its shares in Delhi (last week it was 9.7 per cent) and again secured its sixth position as last week with 9.3 per cent and T.S.L. of 3.2. Hit FM and Oye! FM lingered at the bottom of the graph with shares of 6.3 and 4.9 per cent in that order.

Throughout the year, Bengaluru seems to have an alike top three. Radio City developed its shares from 23.9 to 24 per cent of shares and TSL of 10.01. Big FM secured the second position and Radio Mirchi got the third spot with the shares of 19.7 per cent and TSL of 7.13 and 17.7 per cent and TSL of 7.2 in that order.

Fever FM got the fourth position with shares of 13.9 per cent and TSL of 8.07, Red FM settled at fifth position with shares of 5.5 per cent and TSL of 3.47.

Radio Indigo and Radio Mirchi 95 finished the week 33 with shares of 1.8 and 0.8 per cent with TSL of 2.5 and 5.56.
