MUMBAI: This is big, indeed. ‘Shivaay’, Ajay Devgn's grand venture is leaving no stone unturned to make it to the pinnacle as the biggest chartbuster of the year and is collaborating with ‘The Vamps’ for the film.
Represented by Bottomline Media and Virgin EMI UK, ‘The Vamps’ are jamming in Mumbai with Shivaay's music director, Mithoon. “There will be four tracks and the background score is also done by Mithoon. The Vamps is doing one track collaborating Mithoon for this film,” said our source.
The Vamps, the British pop-rock boy band, who recently visited India and made a big splash at the sets of Colors Infinity's 'The Stage 2', will work on Devgn's directorial debut ‘Shivaay’. The association has been facilitated by Virgin EMI, UK, and Bottomline Media Pvt Ltd. This is Virgin EMI’s first joint venture with Bollywood. Also, music composer duo Vishal-Shekhar released a music video ‘Beliya’ on 16 August on YouTube, featuring popular rock band ‘The Vamps’. This is one of the ideal examples of ‘East meets West’ sound done right.

Talking about the collaboration, Ajay Devgn said, "This is my first international collaboration on a musical front. Bradley Simpson, James McVey, Connor Ball and Tristan Evans -The Vamps - are immensely talented young boys. My daughter Nysa introduced me to the band as I didn't know how big they were among the tweens."
