MUMBAI: In Week 5 and 6 of RAM Ratings, radio stations maintained their positions. Top players like Radio City, Fever FM and Radio Mirchi topped, as usual, in their respective metros in both the weeks. The RAM Ratings of both Week 5 and Week 6 gives insights on the performances of Indian radio stations.

Fever FM’s performance in RAM Week 5 - 6

To start with Fever FM, the radio station continued its successful reign in Mumbai and Delhi both in Week 5 and Week 6. While in Week 5, Fever FM scored 17.5 share per cent and 6.4 T.S.L. in Mumbai, its ratings saw a slight fall in Week 6 as the station recorded 17.3 share per cent and 6.34 T.S.L. in the city of dreams. When it comes to Delhi, the radio station scored 19.4 share per cent and 5.14 T.S.L. in Week 5 while its share per cent and T.S.L. in Week 6 was reduced to 18.6 and 5.08 in the nation’s capital.

Fever FM stood second in Kolkata and fourth in Bengaluru in both Week 5 and Week 6. In Kolkata, the radio station noted 17.4 and 18 share per cents and 6.48 and 6.5 T.S.L.s in Week 5 and Week 6 respectively. Fever FM’s ratings therefore saw a slight increase in Week 6 when compared to Week 5 in Kolkata. In Bengaluru, Fever FM scored 13.8 share per cent and 7.28 T.S.L. in Week 5, while its share per cent and T.S.L. in Week 6 was 14.1 and 7.41 respectively.

Thus, on comparing both Week 5 and Week 6 RAM data, Fever FM ratings saw a slight fall in Mumbai and Delhi, while there was a rise in its figures in Kolkata and Bengaluru.

Radio City

Bengaluru’s star radio station, Radio City as usual topped in the Kannada city with 25.3 share per cent and 9.28 T.S.L. in Week 5 and 25.3 share per cent and 9.31 T.S.L. in Week 6 respectively. It’s T.S.L. saw a slight rise in Week 6 in Bengaluru. When it comes to other metros, the radio pad stood second in Delhi, third in Mumbai in both Week 5 and Week 6, but it failed to make it to the top 10 in Kolkata. In Delhi, Radio City scored 12.9 share per cent and 4.03 T.S.L. in Week 5, while its share per cent and T.S.L. in Week 6 was 13.4 and 4.07 respectively. In Mumbai, the radio station recorded 12.4 share per cent and 5.17 T.S.L. in Week 5 and 12.9 share per cent and 5.22 T.S.L. in Week 6 respectively.

From the RAM data of Radio City in Week 5 and Week 6, we can conclude that there was a slight increase in the ratings in Week 6.

Radio Mirchi

Radio Mirchi topped in Kolkata in both weeks with 19.4 share per cent and 4.38 T.S.L. in Week 5 and 19 share per cent and 4.44 T.S.L. in Week 6 respectively. Its share per cent, thus saw a slight fall in Week 6 in Kolkata. The radio station stood second in Mumbai, third in Bengaluru and fourth in Delhi in both Weeks 5 and 6. In Mumbai the radio station recorded 13 share per cent and 4.1 T.S.L. in Week 5 and 13.4 share per cent and 4.08 T.S.L. in Week 6 respectively, thus noticing a slight increase in figures in the latter week. When it comes to Bengaluru, the radio station scored 16.8 share per cent and 7.01 T.S.L. in Week 5 and 16.7 share per cent and 7.2 T.S.L. in Week 6 respectively. Lastly, in Delhi, Radio Mirchi recorded share per cent of 11.3 and a T.S.L. of 3.13 in Week 5 while its share per cent and T.S.L. in Week 6 was 11.4 and 3.13 respectively.

Thus, with an exception of Kolkata and Mumbai, in terms of share per cent, the RAM Ratings of Radio Mirchi saw a slight rise in its figures in both Week and Week 6.
