Linkin Park and 30 Seconds to Mars to co-headline 'Carnivores Tour' this summer
MUMBAI: It seems like this summer will be a rather busy one for alt rock band Linkin Park. The band which confirmed that it will headline the 'Rock am Ring' and 'Rock im Ring' festivals in Germany this June, recently announced a summer tour which will see them headlining with another popular rock act- 30 Seconds to Mars.
The announcement came at a press conference that was held by both bands in Hollywood. The tour, titled 'Carnivores Tour', will see the two bands hit the road together for the very first time. California rock band AFI (A Fire Inside) will also feature on the tour as a special guest. A one-minute long clip of all three bands was also screened during the conference.
'Carnivores Tour' will see the two bands perform in 25 different cities. It will kick off at the Cruzan Amphitheatre in Florida on 8 August and will conclude on 19 September at the Concord Pavilion in California. Other the cities included in tour are Dallas, Phoenix, San Diego, Huston, Toronto and Montreal. Tickets for the tour will go on sale from Friday 7 March onwards.
Meanwhile, the 'Bleed it Out' rockers revealed earlier that they will be re-issuing their 2004 'Collision Course' collaborative album with Jay Z titled as part of the album's 10th anniversary celebration and will be released on 19 April. They are also working on their sixth studio album, which could be released sometime this summer.
