The track Jai Ho which got Rahman two Academy awards and a Golden Globe, has been nominated in the category of Best Song written for Motion Picture, Television or Other visual media. Rahman has also been nominated in the category of Best Compilation Soundtrack Album for Motion Picture, Television or Other visual Media for Slumdog Millionaire.

The net loss stands at Rs 270 million while the first-quarter operating loss is at around Rs 110 million. The company, which is yet to announce its financials publicly, had posted a net loss of Rs 980 million on a turnover of Rs 2 billion in FY'09. Expenses for the full-fiscal stood at Rs 2.28 billion.

MUMBAI: Adding to its catalogue of several high profile projects music label T-Series has acquired the music rights of the Shahid Kapoor starrer 'Chance Pe Dance' and the Sushmita Sen-Shah Rukh Khan starer 'Dulh Mil Gaya'. Chance Pe Dance has Adnan Sami and Sandip Shirodkar composing music for it. The music of the film will be launched between 10-12 December. Dulha Mil Gaya will play the tunes composed by Lalit Sen and its music will be released around 7-9 December.

MUMBAI: Radio One vice president programming Vehrnon Ibrahim has put in his papers. Ibrahim will serve his notice period till 31 December. It is most likely that one of the programme directors –Rishi Krishnani (Mumbai), Anil Machado (Bangalore)or Debojit Saha (Delhi) will step into Ibrahim's shoes, although the company has not made any formal announcement.
