MUMBAI: International pop star Shakira was honoured as the �2011 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year' on 9 November in Las Vegas. Latin music stars paid tribute to Shakira by performing on her hit tracks like Hips Don't Lie, La Tortura and Estoy at the concert. The 34-year-old singer, who has sold more than 60 million albums in Spanish and English is the youngest person to receive the Latin Recording Academy award. The previous honours include Carlos Santana, Gloria Estefan and Ricky Martin.

Adele won the title of Best Pop Music Video and Best Cinematography for her single �Rolling in Deep,' directed by the film maker Sam Brown.
