The man behind songs like 'Hookah Bar', 'Go Go Govinda', is back with a bang. Yes Aman Trikha is here with a romantic single called 'Mahiya Tu Hi Tu' which he had composed a few years ago.

While speaking to Radioandmusic.com about the single he said, "I had composed this song in the year 2010 but did not release it as I was no one in the industry and had to rely on Youtube, which I did not want to do. Thus I released this single now."

The other reason for releasing the single now is that he did not want to get type casted in a particular category. "Most of the time I was called for the fast beat tracks and not something as soothing and romantic as 'Mahiya Tu Hi Tu'. I was known for the party numbers and I did not like that. This is also one of the steps I have taken for breaking away from the stereotype," Trikha explained. After composing the single he sent the link to most of the big players in the industry and received many positive responses. But for him the best compliment he received was from Sonu Nigam.

Trikha is an engineer, but was always keen on being a professional singer. "My parents did not mind me being a singer, but had given me deadline for my success. I was asked to take up a job if I would not have succeeded," recalled the singer.

His upcoming project includes a song in Subhas Ghai's film Kaanchi, which will release in May 2014.
