MUMBAI: Radio Disney US has launched a new Radio Disney Mobile website and texting program, developed in conjunction with mDisney. mDisney is a part of the Walt Disney Internet Group. Big FM takes talent hunt to Chennai, Orissa

MUMBAI: Big FM Chennai has launched a music talent hunt 'BIG Singaara Singer', an initiative to search talent from the streets. Through the contest, Big FM will identify two golden voices from Chennai from aspiring singers , one male and one female , and will give them an opportunity as playback singers in a forthcoming Kollywood movie. The registration for the contest starts on 21 April and the two winners will be announced as the "Big Singaara Singer" on 17 May.

Disney announces Hannah Montana - The Big Pop Star Dream

MUMBAI: Disney Channel India has announced 'Hannah Montana - The Big Pop Star Dream' which is a search for pop star. Starting 17 May, Disney Channel will tour Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Hyderabad to audition tweens across India.To participate in the Disney Channel's Hannah Montana - The Big Pop Star Dream, the participants have to perform on any Hindi movie song at an audition to be held in their city. Anushka Manchanda, star of the Viva band, will be the celebrity judge for this competition and will help select one contestant per city after reviewing the four city auditions.

Sangeet Bangla set to enter GEC space, plans 14 new shows
